El Salvador Cerro Las Ranas-Honey Processed
This is Cerro Las Ranas, from Apaneca, Ahuachapán, El Salvador, grown at 1,450–1,780 meters. It’s produced by JASAL, the Salaverria family operation run by José Antonio Salaverria and his sons. The lot includes Bourbon, Pacamara, Sarchimor, Pacas, Catuai and Caturra varieties.
A slightly exotic, easy-drinking coffee with floral citrus, delicate red fruit, toasted nuts, and chocolate. Best at a light-medium roast, where bright acidity gives way to a smooth, rich sweetness and balanced chocolate finish.
